Social Policy Specialist

As a Social Policy Specialist, you will help shape policies that influence workplaces, communities, and broader society. Through research, analysis, stakeholder engagement, and evidence-based advocacy, you’ll provide strategic insight across key social policy areas such as education, labour markets, health, social protection, and workplace wellbeing, helping drive informed decisions and meaningful social impact.

We are seeking a Social Policy Specialist for one of our esteemed clients in Johannesburg - to provide expert research and policy analysis across a range of social policy matters. These include education and training, labour market economics, social protection, migration, health economics, and workplace safety, health, and the environment.

Pay

R400,000.00R500,000.00 per year

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Location: In-Person

Requirements:

Minimum 3–4 years’ experience in policy analysis, negotiation, and advocacy
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Labour Economics, Public Policy, Economics, Health Economics, or Education and Training Policy
Postgraduate qualification would be an advantage
Strong skills in research, report writing, and project/programme management
