We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer / Plant Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations in our closed‑die hot forging facility. This role requires expertise across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, ensuring maximum equipment reliability, enforcing safety standards, and leading a maintenance team to deliver operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement preventive & predictive maintenance programs for forging presses, hammers, furnaces, and hydraulic systems.
- Lead and mentor maintenance technicians, fostering a strong safety culture and continuous improvement.
- Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime.
- Manage spare parts inventory, vendor relationships, and maintenance budgets.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA/ISO safety standards, including lockout/tagout and PPE enforcement.
- Collaborate with production teams to align maintenance activities with operational schedules and goals.
Requirements:
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering (with exposure to Electrical & Hydraulic systems).
- Experience: 5–10 years in plant maintenance within heavy manufacturing (forging, steel, automotive preferred).
- Technical Skills: Strong expertise in mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, hydraulics/pneumatics, and CMMS systems.
- Certifications: Safety management (NEBOSH/OSHA) and hydraulics/electrical training advantageous.
- Soft Skills: Proven leadership, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
